Inspired by Tammy Olsen’s Mother, the Winni Award represents a person who is at the arena regularly, helping and supporting others. Winni was everybody's Grandma at the rink. She loved the sport, and figure skaters. Her enthusiasm showed in her support at test sessions & skating events. She spent 2 decades supporting skaters, coaches, and skating parents. The Kingsgate Skating Club annually honors a member for exhibiting the fierce, supportive spirit of Winni.
